Zop 7.5 mg Tablet contains Zopiclone 7.5 mg, a non-benzodiazepine hypnotic used for the short-term treatment of insomnia, helping people fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. It works by enhancing the calming effects of GABA in the brain, promoting relaxation and sleep. The usual adult dose is one tablet taken just before bedtime when you can have a full night’s sleep (7–8 hours). It should not be used long-term, typically limited to 2–4 weeks to prevent dependence or tolerance. Common side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, metallic taste, dry mouth, and headache, while serious effects like memory loss, confusion, or unusual sleep behaviors are rare but possible. Alcohol should be avoided, and caution is advised when driving or operating machinery the next day. Elderly patients or those with liver or kidney issues may require a lower dose. Always use Zop 7.5 mg only under medical supervision and exactly as prescribed.
